Photography Academy Champaigne Photography have been in the photography business since 1946 and entered the design and print field in 1990. The Champaigne Academy was opened in 2004. We are a small but diverse company with a broad talent base. Based in Springfield, near Brisbane, we do not consider we have borders, our clients come from all areas and communities.

Photography Tours The Academy runs courses in all aspects of photography from Beginner to Advanced, ranging from short one day location visits to a full week’s itinerary. Would you like to spend a day or a week with a highly experienced and qualified professional photographer? We can accommodate the person who just wants to spend a day photographing beauty spots within easy reach of Ipswich and the Scenic Rim, learning all the tips for creating successful landscapes and pictorial images. This does not incorporate any formal instruction so you will need a good working knowledge of your camera and its controls. A great day out for keen photographers of all ages. We can also arrange an entire week of photography to enrich your holiday experience. This involves a short update on technical skills and then travel to various incredible spots within South-East Queensland to enable you to take home a great portfolio of images of Australia in all its beauty and mystery. Transport is provided, as is all instruction and entry fees if applicable. We can even arrange your accommodation for you and suggest suitable things for you to do in the warm evenings if you still have the energy after the day's excitement! Photography Academy The Academy runs courses in all aspects of photography from Beginner to Advanced, ranging from short one day location visits to full length courses lasting considerably longer. Simply wish to increase or update your skills? You will be able to do this. If you have your sights set higher then we can help you attain your objectives. Certificate Course: This is our longest running and most popular course which lasts for two months, part-time in the evenings. Now it is specifically designed for Digital Photographyand starts off with basics and very quickly takes students to a high standard of knowledge and ability. Our highly qualified and experienced Professional Instructors have limited the numbers on each course to enable them to give individual attention to students where possible. The work is assessed and successful students will be awarded the Graded Certificate of the Academy. The cost of the course is $275 including GST and work-book. Film Module: Those that are still using film will find the Certificate course extremely useful, however we do recommend that the add-in Film module is also undertaken at a cost of $50. Advanced Modules: These are only open to students who have successfully undertaken our Certificate Course. They are usually held over a weekend and specialise in both the technical and practical aspects of more specialised aspects of Photography. They usually involve both studio and location sessions. The price varies depending upon content. Once you have done the Certificate course you will automatically be informed of these Modules. Professional Certificate Course: This course runs full-time for two intensive weeks (10 days) and covers a very wide field of the modern Digital Photography Profession. There is extensive technical tuition combined with practical location and studio assignments to give a good grounding for those going into the profession either full or part-time, employed or self-employed. We cover a great deal of ground in those weeks and the work is assessed. If successful the student is awarded the Academy's Professional Certificate. For further information please call the Academy.
